1. Scope

Software by Design does not operate a central cloud that stores your passages, tracks, or GPS history. Your data stays on your device unless you export or share it yourself.

2. Data on your device

We do not upload your passages, tracks, or continuous location history to Software by Design servers.

3. Internet & third parties

When online, the app may request map tiles from CARTO, OpenSeaMap, and seamark data from Overpass API servers. These requests do not include an account or your name. They may reveal which map areas you view.

4. What we do not do

No sale of personal data
No advertising or analytics SDKs in the app
No profiling or marketing from your navigation data

5. Permissions

6. Deletion

Delete data in the app (passages, tracks, offline packs) or uninstall the app. Export GPX via the system share sheet when you choose.
