SeaCheck is a navigation aid for coastal sailing — shared as a personal side project, not a certified chart plotter or replacement for official nautical charts.

SeaCheck is not suitable for navigation on its own.
Map data comes from OpenSeaMap, OpenStreetMap, and CARTO volunteers. It may be outdated or incomplete. Use alongside official, corrected, up-to-date charts and check Notices to Mariners before you go.
1. Agreement
By installing or using SeaCheck you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for safe vessel operation and for carrying official charts required in your waters. Software by Design does not guarantee accuracy of map data, GPS fixes, or alarms.
3. Limitation of liability
SeaCheck is provided “as is” without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, Software by Design is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the app. Mandatory liability under applicable law (e.g. intent or gross negligence) remains unaffected.
