1. Scope

This policy covers the Terminal tablet app (foyer kiosk). The app is a client for the ArbeitszeitCheck Nextcloud app on your organisation’s server.

Software by Design does not operate a central cloud for your working-time data.

3. Data stored on the device

No Nextcloud user password and no permanent employee login is stored on the tablet.

4. Data sent to your server

Only to the HTTPS URL configured by IT:

Pairing (pairing code)
Config and license envelope verification
Clock actions: RFID UID or PIN + selected user (short-lived session)
Heartbeat (terminal online)

RFID UIDs are not stored in plaintext on the server (HMAC lookup only).

5. What we do not do

No sale of personal data
No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs
No transmission of working time to Software by Design servers
